Learn more about Morgan

Hi, I'm Morgan.

I’m a qualified and registered psychotherapist and meditation/mindfulness facilitator integrating process oriented depth psychotherapy, trauma and attachment informed and compassion focused approaches.

I also currently work part-time as a non-religious spiritual care practitioner at a local acute trauma public hospital and have a depth and breadth of experience in the trauma, grief and loss space.

I work with people seeking to explore their inner experience and develop and deepen self-understanding and self-compassion through connection with their inner wisdom and sense of meaning and purpose.

My previous work life has been dedicated to supporting and enabling people to feel seen, heard and valued through experiential creative practices. I’m a qualified and experienced expressive arts (voice and movement) teacher, facilitator, mentor and community cultural development worker. I was the founder, creative producer, artistic director and facilitator of numerous voice and movement programs and projects in Canberra over the last two decades. I have also taught in both mainstream and special education settings from pre-school to university, as well as almost a decade specialising in inclusive adult community education with a focus on the arts as a vehicle for personal and collective empowerment.

Raised amongst a yoga community from a young age I was immersed in a variety of meditation, mindfulness and sacred sound practices and continue to be a lifelong learner of ecopsychospiritual approaches to relationship with self and others (including nature).

I've completed formal training in teaching and guiding meditation and mindfulness and worked as a meditation coach in senior roles for the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness's online meditation teacher training course for 6 years. I have completed a two year post-graduate advanced professional training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Metavision Institute and am accredited with PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia).

I bring this depth of experience to support people to dive deeply into exploring their inner experience and innate embodied wisdom and resources through a range of approaches to self-discovery and self-understanding. My role is to be a catalyst, companion and supportive ally in ways that are meaningful and compassionate for each person and their unique path and process.
